4 Ups & 3 Downs From AEW Rampage (May 6)

1. Oh, The Potential!

Toni Storm Britt Baker
AEW

Match of the night belonged to the opening tag though.

It rocked any time Britt Baker and Toni Storm were in there. Jamie Hayter and Ruby Soho added to the match too, but man...give the world some one-on-ones between Toni and Britt yesterday. They've got chemistry, that much is clear. In fairness, the same could be said about Jamie and Storm (that pairing clicked in the UK and Japan pre-AEW).

This tag could've headlined Rampage easily. Storm's revival post-WWE (remember that pie rubbish?!) continues, and Hayter is starting to come into her own. Jamie is emerging from the shadow of Baker slowly-but-surely, and that's ace to see.

These four women worked one of the better TV matches of the entire wrestling week, and they should be proud of that. Fans treated all of them like stars, and it was another sign that the future of AEW's female division looks bright.

So bright that Toni is wearing shades indoors.
