4 Ups & 3 Downs From Last Night's WWE SmackDown (Oct 24)

3. An End, Once And For All

24 hours after inexplicably linking up for SmackDown's tedious Raw invasion, Dolph Ziggler and Bobby Roode suddenly remembered that they hate each other last night. There wasn't much to their segment, and all it really amounted to was a challenge for next week, yet it still finished as one of the night's most positive moments.

Why? Because the stipulation suggests that an end is finally on the horizon.

Roode hasn't been introduced to the main roster effectively, and much of that is down to this feud. Ziggler is a heat vacuum. Nobody cares about him anymore, and him going 50/50 with hot new stars doesn't put them over, but diminishes them. Thus, we should all be thankful for next week's two out of three falls match, the winner of which will join SmackDown's Survivor Series team.

The duo are currently 1-1, with both wins coming via sneaky roll-up. Such attempts will likely dominate the clash, but the victor technically has to defeat their opponent twice, which should guarantee variety. Here's hoping the outcome is clean and decisive, and that we never see this feud again.
