2. TBS Title Match Underwhelms

Theoretically a great styles clash between a plucky, experienced wrestler and a growing powerhouse, both of whom come off incredibly well on television, Jade Cargill vs. Ruby Soho was a clunky match that undermined the occasion of Cargill becoming the first TBS Champion.

Ruby gave Cargill plenty, but showed little fire in her comebacks and struggled for explosiveness when attempting to chop down the giant. Such things are essential when facing a size discrepancy. Though Soho showed she wouldn't be intimidated here, she was still, theoretically, the underdog, but her offensive work was tepid compared to Thunder Rosa's opposite Jade last week.

Mercedes Martinez's attempted interference was interrupted by Rosa, who brawled her to the back. Later, Mark Sterling was ejected from ringside after screwing around on the apron. Outside involvement was therefore kept to a minimum, though Sterling's moment, in particular, felt heavy-handed.

Most cumbersome of all was the final minute or so, as a disruptive botch struck the match when Ruby attempted to counter Jaded into a pin attempt. Moments later, the unsteady set-up of Cargill's finisher from the second rope dealt further damage to the flow.
