4 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Rampage (April 28)

3. Zero Time For This

The Acclaimed Billy Gunn
AEW

The Acclaimed are somehow still over as f*ck.

AEW doesn't know what to do with them though, and a useless 50-second squash match win alongside Billy Gunn vs. Ryzin (no relation to Terra), Cameron Stewart and Dante Casanova is proof of that. This was way less-effective than letting Max Caster rap or The Acclaimed cut a promo would've been.

Can somebody please start pitching meaningful stuff for this team again? They've gone from AEW Tag-Team Champs with the world at their feet to being shoe-horned into episodes just for the sake of it. Those red hot crowd responses won't be there forever if this keeps up.

Bless Tony Schiavone, JR and Excalibur for trying to pretend that this meant anything. They have to, because they're pushing the product, but everybody watching knows this was worthless. These boys are so directionless right now, and it's sad to see.
