4 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Rampage (Aug 4)

3. No Complaints

Keith Lee The Hardys
AEW

Everybody knows that Keith Lee's All Elite career is seriously stale, but he can still enter eye-popping (and crowd-pleasing) performances when motivated. Big Keith was a fine choice of partner for The Hardy Boys on Rampage, but the union probs won't last long enough to bother for the Trios Titles.

All six men involved (Lee, Matt and Jeff faced Kip Sabian, The Butcher and Blade) hit their marks, and the match zipped along at a nice tempo before the popular Swanton Bomb finish. You've got to feel sorry for wrestlers taking that nowadays though, because Jeff slams down onto them with zero poise.

Overall, Friday's opening Trios bout got the crowd onside and showed there's life in Lee yet. His proper push may never come, but at least AEW's hardcore fans haven't totally given up on the guy. Just...don't put him in another tag-team. Please!

Please?!
