4 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Rampage (Feb 10)

Downs...

4. Impractical Indeed

Chris Jericho JAS Impractical Jokers

Let's broach that Impractical Jokers thing first, eh?

As the intro says, having celebrities on hand to promote their projects isn't new to pro wrestling. However, the least AEW could do is try to tie it in with the full-timers so shilling a show like Impractical Jokers doesn't come across as hollow or (worse) a complete waste of TV time.

Two members of the cast went out and cut a few d*ck jokes. Then, Chris Jericho became the anti-Miz by talking about his big balls, and his JAS crew put the pair of wisecrackers through a table. It was throwaway, and did give Excalibur the chance to talk up Impractical Jokers' new season, but...where was Ricky Starks?

He's the one feuding with Jericho, not these guys. A quick run-in from Ricky (perhaps armed with some other mates) would've given the segment purpose and fed into what's coming on AEW programming soon. Instead, JAS kicked lumps out of a few non-wrestlers and posed.
