4 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Rampage (May 13)

1. They Know One Another Inside Out

Scorpio Sky Frankie Kazarian
AEW

Pre-swerve finish, Scorpio Sky and Frankie Kazarian were having one hell of a match.

There were countless moments throughout when both ex-SCU boys came to a stalemate or countered the other's signature moves. In fairness, the announcers were right there with them to tell that story - Chris Jericho, in particular, was keen to talk about their shared history.

The main was peppered with spots that sold just how well these former partners know one another. Submissions were escaped, strikes ducked, and there was a general vibe of Scorp knowing what Frankie was going to do before he even did it (and vice versa).

It'd be sweet if AEW could book a rematch to go longer on pay-per-view sometime. Sky and Kazarian could easily gobble up 20-25 minutes of ring time with this kind of narrative, although they'd probs have to go for a grudge match feel following Scorpio's belt shot.
