4 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Rampage (Oct 21)

3. And Repeat

Ari Daivari Hook
AEW

So, The Trustbusters handed Hook an envelope that All Elite made some noise about. Then, the FTW Champ opened it to find out that the bogus heel faction wanted to pay him $50,000 for the unofficial belt. Finally, Ari Daivari offered Hook 50 grand in cash before losing to him in less than three minutes.

Top storytelling, guys.

Why didn't The Trustbusters just use their significant numbers advantage to kick the crap out of Hook and steal the title like Nyla Rose has stolen the TBS strap? Also, it's about time that AEW started doing more with Hook than these pointless little side stories that genuinely go nowhere.

He gets reactions from live crowds, but his act is beyond stale at the moment creatively. The Danhausen stuff went nowhere, this Trustbusters garbage went nowhere - hell, even Hook's team with Action Bronson went nowhere!
