4 Ups & 4 Downs From Last Night's WWE NXT (Nov 18)
1. Alexa Deserved more
Alexa Bliss had a TOUGH job going into this match. Bayley's last feud with Sasha Banks was monumental. After all, everything that the Four Horsewomen did in NXT throughout 2015 turned to gold, and the Bayley/Banks feud was the zenith of their work. It was a perfect storm of first-time-ever excitment, media attention, and two astonishing workers. Then Sasha left for her permanent home on the main roster, leaving Bayley behind to accept new challengers, who could only try to top her last dance partner. And yes, Alexa Bliss is no Sasha Banks, but considering the inevitable comparisons, Bliss acquitted herself very well, working a less physically co-ordinated but still psychologically-sound match, targeting Bayley's hand throughout and telling a great story with her facial expressions. What a shame then that not only did Bayley abruptly end the match with a SuperCena-esque finishing move out of nowhere for the win - undoing all of Bliss's work - but as soon as the match was over, Alexa was no where to be seen. She didn't get a good final shot on camera and her work in the match was immediately overshadowed by the entrance of Eva Marie. She should be rightfully Blissed off at that.
