It remains to be seen if Baron Corbin can mimic tag-team success alongside Bron Breakker with Apollo Crews. Let's be real: Breakker is the reason that unit got eyeballs on NXT. However, every new act deserves some time to sort things out, and the match Corbin N' Crews (please don't let that be their name!) had with Humberto and Angel was tidy.

The Legado del Fantasma pair are criminally overlooked, so it was pleasing to see them score a TV win and look good doing it. Now, if only the Santos Escobar-led faction actually looked like a proper threat weekly we'd be off to the races. Spotlighting what Elektra Lopez brings to the party might be an idea too.

Babysteps, eh?

If Baron can rehab Apollo and turn him into someone fans care about, then build a statue of the guy right now and stick it next to Andre. That sounds like mission impossible, but at least their first real match together as a team worked out well and didn't hit the 'Downs' section. That's an unexpected plus, 'cause this seemed like an auto-downer on paper.
