4. Fatal Influence Gets The Job Done

Everybody needs a palate cleanser after all that negativity, huh?

SmackDown featured a rock solid 6-woman tag with Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid beating Chelsea Green, Tiffany Stratton and Paige. How about that for a kick off? Chelsea and Tiffany were kept busy on the outside whilst Nikki Bella tripped Paige, then Jacy finished the Brit off for the pin. There were some nice heat sections from Influence on Stratton in particular before the ad break too, then things naturally kicked up a notch post-commercials.

Personally, this fan isn't really interested in seeing Bella challenge Green for the Women’s Title, but this was fine and dandy for what it was supposed to achieve, and it certainly had its place on the show. It's also lovely to see the writing team continue to come through for Fatal Influence; they had a fab start on the brand, then wobbled, and now they've got loads of gold whilst still scoring trio wins.

There's no reason why someone like Jacy, in particular, can't go on to become a leading light in the women's game on team blue heading into 2027. She has everything going for her, and she seems to be relishing the chance to bed in with her buddies. Kudos to Paige for turning in one of her better performances since rejoining the WWE machine too.

The stalwart bumped around nicely for all 3 members of Influence, but it's just a pity that her mediocrity with Bella seems set to rumble on into October. Tidy match regardless.
