4 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE SmackDown (7 Nov - Results & Review)

1. “It Is Downright Ugly”

Corey Graves said he couldn’t wait for Charlotte Flair vs. Nia Jax, because it’s always “downright ugly”. How right you are, Mr. Graves. These women do not have any chemistry to speak of. Their matches aren’t ugly because they’re physical, they’re ugly because they’re disjointed and have no flow. Nia vs. Alexa Bliss was crap last week, and this was no better.

Dunno what’s happened to Jax, man, but she’s fallen off a cliff again. Her heat sections are so slow and boring. At times, it was like she and Charlotte were running through some spots in front of trainers at the Performance Center. They were running slower than they'd walk during send off Irish whip moments, for example! Did production staff smear the canvas in treacle before that bell?!

Hopefully, Nia's new combo with Lash Legend brings the best out in her again. Something needs to change, that's for sure, because her performance here was bloody terrible. This match was so clunky that they’d have been asked to do it again if SmackDown was still taped instead of live. That's how jumbled it was from start to finish.

If Nia's matches vs. Bliss and Flair are anything to go by, then Lash will need to be Ricky Steamboat out there to compensate. There's nothing to get excited about with any of this, fellow fans. There really, really isn't. On a more cheerful note, it looks nailed on that Charlotte will get to come through on a match that most would enjoy watching.

That feeds neatly into the 'Ups'...
