...and this is a nice starting point for the positives.

Charlotte Flair sizing up Jade Cargill works. It helps that Charlotte is finally over as a babyface due to her alliance with Alexa Bliss, and she has legacy star power for days. She'll always be viewed as a credible threat to any belt, and it’d be class to see Jade vs. Flair finally happen. That's in the pipeline, especially now Cargill has shouted, “Whenever you’re ready” at Charlotte.

Sure, this was only a brief moment within the context of SmackDown as a whole, but it's one that worked. The live crowd responded in kind when Flair's music hit and Jade was holding her newly won title high above her head in the entranceway. If nothing else, seeing a legitimately popular babyface Charlotte (something nobody thought they'd ever be saying in 2025!) go after Cargill will chew up a main event on TV or fit onto an upcoming PLE.

Hell, depending on the status of Bianca Belair, maybe pencil this one in for the next Saturday Night's Main Event and take your time on 'EST' vs. 'That Bitch'. Jade vs. Charlotte would be a fine addition to the lineup centred around John Cena's final match ever. It reeks of must see star quality.

Cargill throwing her weight around and being an alpha female cow to everybody behind the curtain now she's champ also makes sense. She knows she's good, and she knows she's only going to get better. Let that become her main characteristic and the feuds which follow will write themselves.
