Rey and Dominik Mysterio vs. Alpha Academy was a great little tag-team match that ticked every box it needed to. Dominating heel beatdown section? Check. Spirited babyface comeback? Check. Clean babyface win that sets up new SmackDown Tag Title contenders? Check.

Good stuff.

Chad Gable and Otis have developed into a team you should keep your eye on. Their time will probably come if they continue this standard of work, but they were never going to win this one; Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode needed babyface challengers for their belts. Therefore, Rey and Dom winning made sense.

Michael Cole might've given the game away by saying there has "never been father and son tag champs in WWE". Don't be shocked if Rey and Dom are the first. They're coming for 'dem Dirty Dawgs, and that match will presumably happen at 'Mania Backlash.
