4 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE SmackDown (April 23)

2. Seth Rollins’ Excuses

Seth Rollins carried that opening promo segment with Cesaro (at least until Daniel Bryan came out). His poise on the mic is plain for all to see, and he must be loving the chance to ham it up by making wild statements that never quite justify coming up short.

If only that damn weather hadn't interrupted his pre-match WrestleMania ritual, Seth said.

That was tremendous heel banter. Seth claimed that the rain delay in Tampa threw him off his game and is the "only reason" why Cesaro came out on top in their match. This, you won't be surprised to learn, is leading to a rematch on the next pay-per-view. Unlike KO vs. Sami Zayn, that's fine.

Rollins should want another crack at Cesaro. Meanwhile, "Zezarooo" (Seth's way of saying his name) should be ready to crack some skulls after being shunted out of the Universal Title mix so suddenly. This, hopefully, will prep Cesaro for an eventual title shot he richly deserves.
