4 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Oct 28)
3. The Wrong Move?
There are real worries elsewhere in the tag ranks too.
Yours truly isn't entirely sure why Legado del Fantasma were booked to take a loss to Hit Row and Shinsuke Nakamura on Friday night. Surely, Zelina Vega's crew should look like the proper unit compared to some hastily-assembled babyface crew? That just makes sense.
Fans in St. Louis weren't really into anyone other than Shin either, which is very concerning. Signs are there that Hit Row's return has been a miserable failure/pointless exercise, and it's not cool that del Fantasma's main roster shine is already rubbing off too.
WWE tends to do this; Vince McMahon caught most of the flak for those NXT > main roster woes, but Triple H isn't exactly covering himself in glory by handling acts like Hit Row, Legado and even Johnny Gargano over on Raw so poorly.
