4 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Sept 29 - Results & Review)

3. Hey, Remember Cameron Grimes?!

It says everything about Cameron Grimes' current standing on the main roster that most fans probs forgot he was even on SmackDown's books before this match vs. Austin Theory. Ultimately, his cameo spot was an enhancement-level performance that didn't do much to make him look like someone people should care about.

That's a bit of a bummer, but Theory does deserve praise for at least trying to toss Cam something to build on here. Grimes got some nice offensive flurries in, but WWE doesn't seem interested in the guy whatsoever. That's a shame, 'cause he's super-talented and proved that on NXT.

This has been a pointless promotion thus far.

There is a silver lining to this 'Down', to be fair. Theory and Grayson Waller appeared as a united front, and they're very good together. It's just a pity that someone like Grimes had to be the fall guy, and look like some WWF Metal scrub from 2001 whilst he was at it.
