4 Ups & 5 Downs From AEW Dark (May 19)

Ups...

4. Jason Cade vs. Marko Stunt

A standout on last week's Dark - where he was tremendous as a c*nty, obnoxious heel who radiated arrogance against Orange Cassidy - was Jason Cade, who returned to face Marko Stunt ahead of the Jurassic Express man's murder by MJF's hand on tonight's dark.

Cade was great again here. Though only 5'9" himself, he looked like a hoss against the pint-sized Marko, with the differential allowing the independent veteran several avenues back into his contest with a full-timer. A particularly bludgeonous elbow on the corner brought Cade's brightest period, though he was eventually undone by Marko's 450 Splash.

Stunt wrestled the way he always does, using his superior speed and diminutive stature to carve openings that in no way violate the accepted psychology of professional wrestling. This was his first singles triumph in AEW.
