4 Ups & 5 Downs From AEW Dark (May 19)

1. Musa & Lee Johnson vs. Jimmy Havoc & Kip Sabian

Friends, this wasn't good.

Jimmy Havoc and Kip Sabian's tag victory went on and on and on and on. It was 10 minutes of deeply boring control work spiced up only by the occasional dash of character from Havoc, who was comfortably the best guy in the bout. Still, the heels' heatless dominance yielded to unnecessary hope spots far too many times, making it impossible not to mentally check out by about five minutes in, at which point they were barely halfway through.

This could have been done in three minutes, and its ten felt like twenty. Jimmy eventually took the victory via Implant DDT following the Acid Rainmaker. It's another number in the win column but little else.
