4 Ups & 5 Downs From AEW Dynamite (June 11)

3. Too Little, Too Late

Want some more of that? You got it.

AEW tried to rescue Evil Uno's one-off TNT Title challenge by tacking on some Brodie Lee context, and that couldn't save it. That tribute to a fallen friend should've been the story all along; instead, fans were told that Uno only got the title shot because Tony Khan had given the injured John Silver a birthday present and he couldn't redeem it.

Yes, title shots are being handed out like gifts now. This framing knackered Uno vs. Miro before it had even started, and that's a shame because the pair worked pretty well together. Arguably, Miro shouldn't be giving The Dark Order man nearly as much as he did when AEW have been booking him like a beast, but one can't blame the guy for trying to have good matches.

That wasn't the main problem here anyway. AEW's birthday nonsense was, and their attempt to pin the Brodie Lee badge on Uno's chest before he walked through the curtain was a case of too little, too late.
