4 Ups & 5 Downs From IMPACT Wrestling (25 Nov)

Chris Sabin Kaleb

Under these circumstances, Chris Sabin vs. Kaleb With A K had no right to be as enjoyable as it was. Its only reason for occurring was because Kaleb took offence to Sabin walking around shirtless and IMPACT leads you to believe that Kaleb can't wrestle, so it was surprising when he was allowed to shine.

Though it took him a while to actually look effective, Kaleb's eventual offence was near-exquisite, albeit very limited. His neat half-Nelson takedown transition into a Rings of Saturn, where he mockingly began taking selfies, would serve as a cocky d*ck of a match-ender for him. He shouldn't just be a photographer for the Influence or used as murder bait for the Minoru Suzukis of the world; he's a good wrestler teetering on the edge of being a great one.

Sabin was the best opponent to prove this against, as he can pull a decent match out of nearly anyone. It was inescapable that he was going to defeat Kaleb, doing so with a slow-motion Cradle Shock, but he allowed Kaleb to look like his equal all through the contest. That's the mark of an established veteran wanting to elevate their adversary.
