4 Ups & 5 Downs From IMPACT Wrestling (25 Nov)

5. Skip These Entirely
Both Johnny Swinger vs. Lawrence D and Black Taurus vs. Hernandez were tedious, mundane, needless affairs that easily could have had their issues resolved in a single segment, rather than leaving the taste of Wrestle House matches a tad sour.
Swinger vs. Lawrence was as house show a match as you could get, with plenty of weak strikes that did little to no damage. Why the former had to rely on spraying dust ala Mr. Fuji into Lawrence's eyes just to win felt like a waste of what is traditionally a good spot. Taurus vs. Hernandez, meanwhile, at least had Hernandez look like the latter was wrestling at his peak circa-2010. The slingshot shoulder tackle and pouncing Senton were both executed with such ferocity that you forgot how dire the match was; when his trousers tore, it became the focal point of the match, sadly.
Johnny Swinger's proposal to Swingerella #1 is perhaps the only notable thing to take away from this. Searching through his fanny pack revealed a treasure chest of gold, a skit that only Swinger could pull off. Had that gone down separately, away from these matches, then it would have been a net positive for sure.
