4 Ups & 5 Downs From IMPACT Wrestling (25 Nov)

3. Daddy Brown's Back In Town

In a bid to cheer up Johnny Swinger, Madison Rayne and Alisha Edwards opted to bring back Downtown Daddy Brown, a supposed city worker-turned-professional wrestler who wrestled during the days of Wendi Richter and Jazzy Fitbody in the IPWF.

For the uninitiated, Brown is Willie Mack, Fitbody is Rayne herself, and the IPWF is IMPACT's throwback alter-ego that will host an entire show on 18 December via IMPACT Plus, where the roster wrestles under different alias'.

What made this an exceptional segment was that Brown entered with spray-on grey hair colouring, complete with a walking stick and stumbling as he walked. He was the epitome of a disgruntled old veteran wanting their time in the spotlight once more, doing so in a segment that worked superbly to not only create an interesting part of the episode, but also build anticipation for the aforementioned IPWF-themed event, Throwback Throwdown II.
