4 Ups & 5 Downs From Impact Wrestling Genesis 2021

Downs...

5. 'Dream Match' Underdelivers

Jazz coming out of retirement to team with Jordynne Grace as part of the Knockouts Tag Team Championships Tournament wasn't the worst thing to happen within Impact Wrestling in 2020/21. The match she had against Jordynne, though? It's up there.

Dubbed as a 'dream match', it was clear the former NWA World Women's Champion just doesn't have it in her anymore. It's legitimately a shame to be typing that, however, Jazz was sloppy throughout the contest. A tornado DDT looked amateur, she looked like she had forgotten how to run the ropes properly on occasion, and she somehow fell unconscious after being pinned off of a rollup.

A rollup?!

'Thicc Mama Pump' carried the former WWE Women's Champion to a massively passable match. In this era of the knockouts division being one of the best women's rosters in all of pro wrestling, matches of this ilk don't have a rightful place.
