4 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE Raw (18 Nov - Results & Review)

Ups…

4. A Good Use Of All Parties

To be clear, the Wyatt Sick6/Final Testament-plus-Miz feud is not a piece of cinema gold. It’s not highly entertaining, and it is not drawing huge houses.

But if WWE is going to have the Wyatts running around, they could do a lot worse than sucking Final Testament and Miz into their vortex. Their battle of promos on Monday night wasn’t terrible, with Miz and Karrion Kross saying that they proved that the Wyatts weren’t invincible by taking the fight to them. Bo Dallas spoke to Miz, saying that the Wyatts offered him an out from the pain and suffering that was coming his way, but the A-Lister chose his fate and “doomed” himself.

This is at best a lower midcard angle that fills space and time each week, with the Wyatts still getting solid reactions in the arenas. It’s safe to say we won’t see Uncle Howdy challenging for a world title – or even the Intercontinental Championship – anytime soon. And Miz is Miz. Final Testament has just enough potential and entertainment value to justify keeping them around.

It’s completely understandable if some fans are fast-forwarding by these segments and ignoring them. But if it keeps Miz from racking up another meaningless title reign and reciting his Wikipedia page for another week, we’ll take it.
