Cards on the table. There was a bit of buzz heading into Nia Jax vs. Jade Cargill vs. Naomi in a MITB qualifying match. All three have history together, and the trio have been inspired as characters lately. That's especially true for Naomi. Sadly, the match turned out to be fairly dull. It never really got going, and was hurt bad by spotty logic.

Nia and Naomi working together after Jax nearly took the latter’s head off with a leg drop from the turnbuckle? That made little sense. It was a temporary alliance, sure, but still. The timing was off. There was a lot of both standing around audibly telling Cargill what to do and where to be, so the bout looked disjointed and was a bit of a disappointment overall too. Jade’s offensive bits were the best thing about it, because the live crowd seemed really into them.

Their midway through, “This Is Awesome” chants were so forced though. Bless you for trying, Tennessee, but this wasn't a match worthy of that singalong.

Most will be glad to see Naomi win, at least. The way she escaped Nia’s squash to then roll her up was slick, and it fit into the opportunistic heel aura the former 'Glow' favourite has going on these days.

Dunno, at times it seemed like these women were rehearsing their match before doors opened. It was clunky, had zero flow, and both heels seemed far too concerned with holding Jade's hand the longer it went on. Definitely a Triple Threat that looked better on paper than it did inside the ring, and that's a pity.
