Naomi vs. Rhea Ripley was a first-time-ever singles showing on this week's SmackDown, and it's not often anybody gets to say that these days. Both women clicked in-ring too. They've got some serious chemistry, so fingers crossed this isn't the last time they go at it on TV.

Granted, it's a bit naff that WWE's only plan for the Women's Tag Champs is to have them lose singles matches, but yeah - it's hard to hate on a match this fun overall. Naomi vs. Rhea was way, way, way better than Sasha Banks vs. Liv Morgan from last week as well.

Check this one out.

There's a physicality to Ripley's work that sets her apart from most in the division. Being fair, Naomi matched that by bringing some thunder herself, and that made the match even better. Also, credit to Banks and Morgan at ringside for playing their part without hogging the spotlight.
