Now, take a bow Bianca Belair.

The reigning SmackDown Women's Champ deserves it. This week was maybe the first time since winning the Royal Rumble in January that Belair has come across as confident and natural on the mic. There were no, 'I'm just happy to be here vibes' pouring out of Bianca this past Friday, that's for sure.

Nah, she came across as a complete star who knows how good she is and doesn't mind telling the world. That's a step in the right direction, because going the 'lucky' route with Belair was never going to work. Actually, it hasn't been working since she won the title from Sasha Banks at 'Mania 37.

Bianca owned the opening promo train, and the fact she managed to outshine Banks is very encouraging. She didn't smile or laugh too much, and Belair didn't let Sasha or Zelina Vega hog the spotlight. This was some good character work.
