4 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Dec 13)

3. That Hot Tag Match

The Revival Shorty G Mustafa Ali
WWE.com

Of all the tag matches on this week's show, The Revival vs. Shorty G and Mustafa Ali was the best. That might come as no surprise to those who adore Dash and Dawson, but the babyface duo's part in the bout's quality shouldn't be overlooked either. Shorty and Ali are quickly developing some chemistry.

It doesn't hurt that The Revival sold their asses off for them.

The traditionalists are so good they made it easy to forget that G and Ali aren't actually a full-time tag-team on the brand. They're two singles guys with nothing better to do who have been shunted together so they still have a presence on programming. Nobody should have a problem with that if the matches are this much fun.

Seriously, if you only watch one match from SmackDown, make it this one. The babyfaces came across as a threat, and the right team won before challenging for the tag belts at this weekend's pay-per-view. Great work all round.
