4 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE SmackDown (July 1)

3. Willing To Give This A Chance

WWE tends to get behind OTT gimmicks like "Maximum Male Models", at last for a while. That's not the only reason why this is in the 'Ups' section though; Mace (or Maçé) and Mansoor (or Mån.sôör̃, which will be a f*cking ball ache to type!) deserve the chance to make their dual repackage job an unlikely success.

Hey, it's not like they were doing anything worthwhile anyway.

The pair could have a nice 'big man/little man' dynamic in-ring, so this fan is willing to give creative the benefit of the doubt and wait to see how this all pans out. It'll certainly get some heat, and Max Dupri is as solid a hype man as WWE are gonna get for the duo.

It's pretty laughable that people were guessing Claudio Castagnoli would be in this spot, in retrospect. Being honest, he wouldn't have been a great fit for it and is obviously much better off in AEW. Mace and Mansoor (screw the special character gimmicks already) look the part.
