4 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE SmackDown (July 1)

2. Madcap Moss = MITB Underdog

Most would've bet a house on The Miz winning that Fatal-4-Way when it was announced. He seemed like the most logical star power pick to round out Money In The Bank, but WWE (to their credit) decided to keep pushing Madcap Moss into featured positions.

Fingers crossed they don't stop.

Honestly, Moss has so much potential now he's shed the silliest parts of his character. His intensity is captivating, especially deep into a match, and he has the kind of physique that'll always earn opportunities in this promotion. Seeing him bag the final berth at MITB is a neat wee surprise.

This should definitely be it for Madcap's interactions with Happy Corbin though. WWE can't hit the repeat button on that rivalry much more, and they need to get the hell away from one another as soon as humanly possible.

Still, Moss' win was a refreshing moment.
