4 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE SmackDown (June 17)

3. Madcap Moss

Right, here's the script: WWE's 'Last Laugh' match didn't need to happen. Madcap Moss convincingly beat Happy Corbin at Hell In A Cell, and that pay-per-view showing should've been that for their feud. However, both dudes made the best of a bad situation on SmackDown.

They worked hard. Damn hard.

Both can look forward to something fresh in coming weeks too. Corbin launched his next program post-match (more on that to come), and Moss is showing so much potential without all the silly gimmicks, rubbish jokes and those bloody braces/shorts.

In time, Madcap will be a fine contender for Gunther's Intercontinental Title. It's important WWE's writers keep him serious though, because Moss has the necessary intensity about his facial expressions to make that work.

Give him a try as an intense, serious baby.
