4 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Nov 26)

Ups...

4. Something WWE Should Explore

Sonya Deville Sasha Banks

Meanwhile, better things are brewing elsewhere in the women's division.

Sasha Banks approached Sonya Deville behind the scenes and warned her not to mess with her career like the authority figure has been doing with Naomi. That prompted Deville to jaw back and come away with a clever/smug line about being the 'Boss' because she wears those power suits.

This is already one million times more intriguing than Deville vs. Naomi. WWE probably don't want that, but it's true, and it owes a lot to Sasha's superior star power. She's actually standing up to Sonya ahead of time too, which Naomi didn't really do. She just sort of moped around hoping things might change, which made her seem weak.

WWE will book that Sonya vs. Naomi match at some point. After it, they've got a ready-made tale that'd get Deville out of the suits and back into in-ring competition full-time. Banks would bring out the best in Sonya, and maybe get her back to the glory days of 2020's summer months.
