4 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Nov 26)

3. A Fine Opening Tag

Granted, it remains to be seen exactly where they're going with this Jeff Hardy/Drew McIntyre association, but good matches are good matches. It's hard to argue with this opening tag. Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss bumped around nicely throughout, and the finish was really popular.

A hometown win. Imagine that.

No, there was nothing earth-shattering here. Is that a problem? Hell no. The live crowd popped big for Drew smashing Madcap with a Claymore Kick, and Jeff's Swanton Bomb later got the reaction of the night. That's encouraging for those who believe Hardy needs another main event run (even if it's a brief one).

Side note: Happy/Madcap showed they're capable of moving into the tag division proper here. They'd be nice heel foil for the next babyface champs post-Usos, that's for sure. Both guys work well together, so hopefully Corbin eliminating Moss in the headline Battle Royal won't lead to a split.
