4 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Nov 5)
1. Poor Cesaro
No! Not Cesaro!
Sure, everybody has to lose matches. That's not a WWE thing - it's a pro wrestling thing, and jobs aren't a problem if they make sense. This week, Cesaro was reduced to teaming with Mansoor and doing the J.O.B for Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo (collectively known as Los Letharios) in a random-ass tag.
The bugger here is that this is such a huge drop off for the Swiss babyface. Cesaro was feuding with top names like Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns earlier this year. Now, he's replaced Mustafa Ali to become Mansoor's new partner in another team that will go nowhere. It isn't exactly fun to watch this happen to someone so talented.
Things might not have been so bad had Mansoor taken the fall here. WWE clearly thought that Garza and Carrillo would get more out of pinning Cesaro; that might be true if there was any follow up to this. There won't be, let's be honest.
