4 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Nov 5)

Ups...

4. Fine For What It Was

WWE still hasn't explained why Shayna Baszler is caught up in this feud between Naomi and Sonya Deville. That's partly why this story has earned 'Down' status pretty much since it started. Other reasons include Sonya's occasionally-unconvincing performances on the mic and the fact that Adam Pearce (who's babyface) isn't stepping in to sort things out.

Onto the positives.

This got an 'Up' because the first part of the match between Shayna and Naomi was slick. The live crowd did give Deville some decent heat for restarting things too, which suggests that this angle is salvageable if WWE get the point (a match) quickly.

It's also nice to see some storylines happening outside of the SmackDown Women's Title picture too. This Sonya/Naomi/Shayna business was the top female focus on this week's show. The top female moment though? Nah, not quite...
