4 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Nov 6)

3. The Plight Of Otis

What happened to Otis?

He's gone from Mr. Money In The Bank to glorified jobber in just a few months. WWE's writers have stripped his girl (Mandy Rose), his partner (Tucker), his briefcase and now his purpose. The ham-loving funny man was one of SmackDown's hottest acts over the summer, but that feels like a lifetime ago.

Obviously, losing to someone the standing of Seth Rollins is hardly a disaster - that's the only silver lining Otis can cling to. Other than that, he's doing next-to-nothing. The smarter play might've been some extra interference from Aalyah Mysterio (to counter Murphy's) that let Otis nab that Survivor Series berth.

WWE aren't even following up on Tucker's heel turn, which is a missed opportunity. Both guys could've been on opposite sides at the pay-per-view and furthered their story. Now, WWE will have to book some 'brand invitational' nonsense to make it happen.
