4 Ups & 6 Downs From AEW Dynamite (June 4)

1. Andrade El Idolo!

Andrade's introduction was a big-time debut that nobody thought would happen quite yet. The ex-WWE man didn't have a 90-day non-compete clause when he left the company in March though, so he was pretty much free to show up on Dynamite whenever the hell he liked.

Fans greeted El Idolo like a major acquisition, and that bodes well. AEW also seem to know that speaking isn't exactly Andrade's strong suit - he looks like a million bucks, and wrestles like a million more, but promos are a sticking point. Thankfully, Vickie Guerrero is on hand to set the scene for Andrade like she has for countless workers over the years.

This could be a match made in heaven (assuming it's not a one off). As always, the next step will be vital for El Idolo. AEW has this nasty habit of debuting ex-WWE stars (Matt Hardy, Paul Wight, Mark Henry, Miro and, to a lesser extent, Christian Cage) and then cooling them off quickly.

Let's hope that doesn't happen to this handsome bastard.
