4 Ups & 6 Downs From AEW Rampage (Nov 11)

2. The Cheapest Of Cheap Finishes

Bandido Rush
AEW

Some may disagree with this, but it didn't exactly make Bandido look like some hot new ticket for AEW when John Silver had to ride to his rescue vs. Rush. The insinuation here was that Jose was a game-changer for the heels, and so Silver had to take care of him if Bandido wanted to get back into things.

Really? Bandido can't handle Jose trying to rip his mask off?

Silver became the focal point of the story when the real shine should've been on Bandido rallying against the villains for a big win. The masked man also went all 'WWE finish 101' by rolling up Rush from behind for a quick one, two, three. That spot has been done to death this year alone.

Here's an idea: If AEW don't want to beat Rush cleanly, then don't put him in there vs. Bandido. Definitive wins and losses should matter, but nobody can build momentum when screwy hijinks like this litter otherwise-important tournaments. Surely.
