4 Ups & 6 Downs From WWE Hell In A Cell 2021

2. Former Champs Turned Chumps

Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax should be considered future Raw Women’s Championship challengers for Rhea Ripley, contender fodder to power the new champ through the summer and into the fall easily.

Instead, the two former WWE Tag Team Champions were single-handedly possessed and trounced by the diminutive and “spooky” Alexa Bliss. The “match”, as it was, saw Baszler land a series of offensive strikes and submissions on Bliss, only for Alexa to laugh all of it off.

Oh, and then she hypnotized Shayna to break a submission, then possessed Jax and got her to slap Reginald. And then she took out Baszler with a flurry, ending with Twisted Bliss to put Shayna down.

Really, we could go on and on about how ridiculous and awful this stuff was, but we’ve been talking about the stupid mystical stuff for so long, we really should state it upfront and leave it as is. Why waste time talking about this idiotic angle other than to call it stupid, give it a huge “down” and then move on with our lives.
