1. Punk Raises The Stakes

A triple threat between CM Punk, Seth Rollins, and Roman Reigns should be a huge deal, sticking three former world champions into one big, bitter feud where they want to murk each other. But the three of them fighting each other on its own isn’t enough to warrant a WrestleMania main event, and might not even be enough alone for three main-event-level superstars to compete at Mania like this.

Punk hinted that more might be in store for this match during a promo on Monday night, pointing out that while he has a match at WrestleMania, he’s not getting what he wants – or is he? Punk went on to trace his path to this moment and how he must go through Rollins and Reigns to get what he wants.

He added that he’s going to be reading the fine print of the contract at the contract signing on SmackDown, hinting that there’s more to this than just a triple threat. Punk also noted that this match should get him closer to “what I want” unless there’s “another rug pull” by the powers that be.

It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that Punk expects there to be more to this match than bragging rights. Does the contract include a stipulation that the winner becomes number one contender for a world title? Does he get added to a world title match at 'Mania the next night? Or does this match just close one of the nights and that’s Punk’s victory dance?

This isn’t the cleanest way of setting things up, but the pieces still could fall into place pretty nicely. For now, this gets passing marks.
