4 Ups & 6 Downs From WWE Raw (July 12)

2. “This Bullsh*t Stops”

Bobby Lashley MVP

Who knew Bobby Lashley had this in him?

Speaking isn't exactly the WWE Champ's strong suit, so nobody could've predicted that he'd be able to weave his way through a profanity-laced promo and close out the show like this. Bobby was intense, believable and didn't labour his points when hyping his upcoming match with Kofi Kingston.

Yours truly did think, for one horrible second, that Lashley was about to split from MVP when he started ranting, but WWE don't seem to be going in that direction...yet. Besides, there's nothing wrong with heels disagreeing - they should be able to do so without broad brush strokes like a definitive split.

Bobby needed this edge back after weeks of being a party boy. This was a throwback to his Hurt Business style last year, and it's a welcome return to form. The fact he didn't flop and flounder on the mic without MVP there as a safety net was also a nice surprise.
