4 Ups & 6 Downs From WWE Raw (July 12)

1. Match Of The Night

Go out of your way to watch the fun, action-packed 'Falls Count Anywhere' cracker between Ricochet and John Morrison. In fact, if you only watch one match from this week's show, make it this one. It was a striking example of what happens when WWE get out of the way and let workers get on with working.

This was really watchable.

Ricochet sparkled by hitting 450s, shooting stars and splashes onto ladders, and Morrison was right there with him ever step of the way. Somehow, the agents in charge also managed to include Miz and Riddle without spoiling things too (saying that, this fan did groan when the dreaded dripsticks came back out to play).

Incorporating the ladder into the finish was a stylish way of teasing what's coming at Money In The Bank as well. That "momentum" the announcers harped on about all night? Yeah, Ricochet defo has some coming out of Raw. Now, WWE just need to follow that up this Sunday.
