It’s hard to get fired up for an episode of Raw when you learn that two of the big matches are just manufactured internal strife, and yet, here we are, less than two weeks out from Survivor Series and still not caring about one of the supposed “Big Four” WWE PPVs of the year.

That’s where we stand today, as WWE delivered a lackluster episode of Raw on Monday night, featuring matches with little stakes or meaning behind them. It was a show where the writers spent more time figuring out how to put a woman through a table for the eighth consecutive week than just about anything else.

We also were treated to more 24/7 nonsense, as the company’s played-out joke continued to play to more and more diminishing returns. We also saw how WWE’s favorite tag team trope – dissension among members – has become the main storyline for both Raw Survivor Series teams. Because why not?

And lastly, RETRIBUTION finally put one in the win column, which is like getting a “yes” for prom after you’ve already been expelled from school. Oh well. At least they got off the schneid.

With that said, let’s dive right in and get to it…
