4 Ups & 6 Downs From WWE SmackDown (April 22)

2. Another Good Squash

Gunther knows how to eat opponents alive.

The big Austrian can be very giving during competitive matches, but there's absolutely no need for those right now. Gobbling up Teddy Goodz like he did was another step forwards for Gunther - this was another win all-round for the ex-Imperium boys.

Ludwig Kaiser is doing his bit as a hype man for his chop-loving mate too. Although he'll have to work some matches himself eventually, the former Marcel Barthel can get away with this stick man routine for a while yet. Someone in WWE creative should also hit up old wXw tapes to see what he and Gunther did as rivals there.

Why not? Their union won't last forever, and that could help Kaiser turn some heads backstage himself. The company just need to keep these squashes coming for another few months, then move Gunther onto something more substantial.

He'll be fine.
