4 Ups & 6 Downs From WWE SmackDown (April 22)

Firstly, the similar finishes (roll-ups and small packages, be damned!) definitely grated during Xavier Woods vs. Butch and Riddle vs. Jey Uso. That aside though, both bouts were top quality from bell-to-bell. Go out of your way to see them if you're into aggressive, hard-hitting wrasslin'.

It's cool to see the ex-Pete Dunne get some decent in-ring minutes now he's on SmackDown too. Butch and Woods have some chemistry together, which is more than could be said for Xavier and WWE pet project Ridge Holland, and they could do special things if handed even more time.

Giving good workers this much spotlight is always a great plan. Riddle is on a roll these days, and Jey Uso was the perfect foil for him. Together, those guys crafted a 12-minute belter that'll please anyone who yearns to see the stoner work more singles.

Score two nifty matches for SmackDown.
