4. Stealing The Statue

Man, that live crowd didn't give a toss about Madcap Moss vs. Angel.

In fairness, why should they? Madcap was always going to hammer the tag-teamer after doing just that to his partner Humberto last week. WWE's main goal with this segment was to further the story between Moss and his old mate Happy Corbin, but...yeah.

They booked Corbin to steal Madcap's Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal trophy, because that sort of thing always works. That's a joke, of course - is this really the best WWE's writers can come up with? The statue is hardly some coveted prize in company circles by 2022 anyway.

If creative thinks they can get away with putting golden Andre on the line at 'Mania Backlash, then they should think again. Fans don't care about the thing, and early signs that they're into Madcap have tailed off badly over the past two weeks.
