'The All American American' nearly took longer unhooking the briefcase than he did to cash it in, but the Money In The Bank hot streak had already come to an end by then.
Kofi Kingston's stilt spot on a broken ladder was cute but utterly futile, whilst the clog formed from forcing 10 wrestlers into a match originally conceived for 6 was all-too-apparent when viewing the slew of bodies surrounding the outside of the ring.
Jack Swagger's victory was certainly a shock before he sucked the fun out of the finish, but it sadly marked the gradual decline of him being much fun for the rest of the year. Considering the roots of Money In The Bank's success in general, this was a disappointment. WWE weren't worried - doubling down on the gimmick by giving it its own pay-per-view later that year made this the last one on the 'Grandest Stage' anyway.
