4 Ups & 7 Downs From AEW Dark (Jun 16)

2. Penelope Ford vs. Skyler Moore

An inevitability of AEW's current Dark approach is that they'll end up using some wrestlers who just aren't ready for the spot. Case in point: Skyler Moore, who looked out of her depth against Penelope Ford last night, undermining the forward momentum Ford got from beating her.

Also - and stop us if you think that you've heard this one before - but the match should have been shorter. Sorry.

Ford is the number one contender now. She's stepping up to Hikaru Shida at a time when AEW desperately needs a new female star to emerge, and has made impressive strides between the ropes over the past few months. Because of this, she should have flattened the overmatched Moore after getting her sh*t in, but alas. Another seesaw.
