Tuesday’s match between the Creed Brothers and Viking Raiders was a good collision of two similar-styled teams, pitting four men who like to just batter their opponents in the ring.

The tag match saw both teams lob bombs at the other, with Julius and Brutus absorbing the veteran team’s best shots and continuing to stay in the fight. The Creeds would pick up the ring due to some well-timed interference from Roderick Strong, which took an already wobbly Erik and put him down for the count.

To their credit, the Creeds weren’t aware of this and were ticked when they found out, showing that they wanted to win on their own merit. This probably means the slow demise of Diamond Mine, but if it means the brothers become a bruising duo of hard-hitting tweeners, that’s fine at this point, as their style works well on both sides of the fence.

Overall though, this was a good little test for the young duo, and they weathered it well.
